BOARDING
When we say full care, we mean it. We don't nickel and dime for changing blankets if the weather turns, or leading your horse out to a paddock, salt blocks are included, if you provide supplements we will feed them. Orchard and local grass is covered by your board payment. Stalls are 12x12, rubber mats with shavings. Walls are wood. Turnout is daily, weather providing. We do not do "pasture boarding", especially in winter, please do not ask.
LESSONS
Lessons are approximately 1 hour, ages 4 and up. We have many adults! Its never too late to start riding! Lessons are 1 on 1 with a well trained horse. Riders start out in the Western saddle and establish a good foundation and from there we can move you on to the style you want. We teach Western, Hunt seat, Saddle seat for the show ring. We can also get you around barrels so fast your head will spin. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO OWN A HORSE. In fact, we prefer people learn about the care and keeping of horses before buying one.
One of our specialties is special care horses, senior horses and foot/leg problems.
We have several senior aged horses in our barn.. We know what they need as they age and can keep them comfortable in their golden years.
As for foot/leg problems, stall and feed are key. Supplements work wonders. But spotting the initial problem or a flare up can save a life. We know what to look for and we know how to help.
